parent involvement

parent support fellowship

Dear Fellow St. James’ Parents
Strong parent participation is an important part of what makes St. James’ extraordinary.  Our parent body comes together with faculty, staff and students to enhance the educational experience, creating enriching opportunities within and outside the school, providing a strong sense of community and helping make the school year fun and productive for all.

The Parent Support Fellowship (PSF) is the main avenue to parent involvement at our school.  PSF supports the community of the school through volunteer activities, fundraising events, enhancing friendships among parents and promoting the mission of the school.

There are volunteer opportunities to fit everyone’s schedule. Some activities are done in a day or a few hours, such as Dad’s Pancake Breakfast or the Larchmont Fair, and others, such as the Husky Highlights Newsletter and Hot Lunch, provide involvement throughout the year.

Here are a few of the many activities that would not be possible without the generous support and leadership provided by the PSF:

If you have questions, or need additional information, please contact Alison McKee, Associate Director of Advancement at 213.233.0133 x 306, or amckee@sjsla.org.  To volunteer for one of the PSF groups, please email psf@sjsla.org.

Here’s to another great year!
